For more than 3 years, our client has been using Microsoft SharePoint as their intranet and collaboration platform. After an assessment of performance gaps, they expressed the need to have a solution which could support its growing global community of more than 15,000 users.

In order to realign the solution to the current and future needs of the organization, we have helped our client in two key areas: optimization of user experience (in terms of performance and design) and the redefinition of their collaboration model. By creating a framework based on wizards and templates, we have been able to empower the business community by giving them tools to create contents by themselves, while at the same time reducing the workload of the IT department.

In 5 months, our client’s intranet was reshaped into a multilingual, digital collaboration platform that allows a global community to work together following our client’s high performance standards – from desktop to tablet or mobile.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • New HIGH-PERFORMANCE & SCALABLE platform fully operating in only 5 MONTHS: a digital collaboration community for 15,000 GLOBAL USERS
  • CONSUMER GRADE USER EXPERIENCE, thanks to a completely responsive interface that is mobile & tablet ready
  • SIMPLIFIED GOVERNANCE and reduced workload for the IT department, with no extensive knowledge of programming required
  • EMPOWERMENT of the end users through WIZARDS & TEMPLATES, from community users to community owners, for easier COLLABORATIVE DECISION-MAKING lending to increased user engagement
