The move to SAP S/4HANA is obviously a big topic. The ERP is the core system of each enterprise and requires individual assessment and roadmap definition. In this interview, we will discuss what’s behind Techedge SAP Certified Partner-packaged solutions: S4H Discovery and S4H Landing; Lorenzo Nevi joins us to explain.
Hi Lorenzo, would you like to introduce yourself?
Thanks Sergio. For around 13 years, I have been dedicated to SAP technologies. I’ve spent the last 10 years working as technical lead and project manager in SAP release upgrades, SAP HANA database migration and SAP S/4HANA conversion projects for very large enterprises with complex SAP landscapes. I can definitely say that SAP upgrades are my passion and I am confident with all the aspects of the brownfield approach.
What’s behind the idea of your SAP Partner-packaged Solutions S4H Discovery and S4H Landing?
I know it can be a frustrating topic, but the end of mainstream maintenance for SAP ECC is approaching and many SAP companies have yet to plan their move to SAP S/4HANA. Talking with our customers, we understood that the two main concerns are to have a clear picture of the change impact to their business, and to know the precise implementation time and cost. For this reason, paired with our experiences in the field, we decided to create a packaged solution offering both.
For the impact and cost evaluation phase, we offer our S4H Discovery service, which provides our customers just what’s implied: A clear view of the project cost, implementation time and Business Downtime indications. For the conversion project execution, we offer S4H Landing to guide our customers in their journey to SAP S/4HANA.
I am extremely proud to announce that our packaged solutions are now SAP Qualified in some of our most critical territories, and will soon be qualified in other countries as well, including: Brazil and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What do you think is unique around Techedge and the brownfield System Conversion to SAP S/4HANA?
I can’t deny that today all SAP partners are structuring delivery teams and preparing offerings for SAP S/4HANA Conversion. But what I can say is that only a few are actually committed to the success of the customer the way we are - the way Techedge has always promoted customer enablement and trust as a foundation of the project.
