Detroit, Michigan - September 2017
The third annual Best Practices for Automotive Conference returns to the motor city, Detroit, on September 18th through 20th. The event, which serves as a platform for industry leaders to discuss and share experiences regarding complex issues impacting the industry, draws OEM's and automotive suppliers alike.
This year's hot topics cover a broad range of themes, from the evolving workforce needs to digital disruptions and their implications for the industry. The event also covers the pragmatic challenges the automotive industry faces, like the continuous pressure to increase efficiency and effectiveness in traditional business processes (i.e. supply chain, aftermarket...), as well as the ever more crucial focus on "real-time" in the realm of business monitoring and analytics. The aim? Remain competitive in the continuously evolving and highly disruptive Automotive industry.
Techedge is a silver sponsor of the Best Practices for Automotive Conference, where we will speak together with our customer, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), during day three of the event on the finance track.
Our customer session, titled "How to Improve the Reporting-Life with SAP® Cloud for Analytics", will highlight FCA's implementation of SAP Cloud for Analytics (previously SAP BusinessObjects Cloud), a SaaS BI platform. We will highlight how the innovative solution has helped FCA improve its reporting capabilities by providing users new, advanced tools for real-time dashboards, predictive analysis and self-service reporting. In addition, we will cover how the cloud based architecture allows FCA to reveal their business insights in real-time.
